Import Template
The import template is a predefined Excel file with a set structure, used to add, update, or remove users in the platform.
The template contains two sheets: "InfoSheet" with information and "DataSheet" where the work is carried out.

InfoSheet
Shows group IDs, group names, language codes, and user keys.
-
Group ID – Each group has a unique ID. By entering this on the respondents, they are placed in the correct team.
If a group is missing, it means the group does not exist in the platform and needs to be created. -
Language Code – Displays the languages set up on the customer account and is used to ensure respondents receive surveys in their native language (provided that the questions and texts have been translated into those languages).
If a language code is missing, please contact Customer Care to have it added to the customer account. -
User Key – Used to identify existing respondents. By matching the information in the import file with what already exists in the platform, the system knows what needs to be updated.
The key is defined when the customer account is set up and varies between organisations — it can be a phone number, email address, or an ID from an HR system.
An ID is preferred, as it usually remains unchanged over time, while email addresses and phone numbers may change.
DataSheet
Add, update, or remove respondents.
-
Headings in bold represent mandatory information that all respondents must have.
-
Headings without bold (e.g., gender, age, project) represent optional information, so-called background variables.
