Is it possible to alter an already presented result?

After a survey has closed, the result is always "locked", and cannot be altered or adjusted in any way; results for finished surveys always reflect what the organisational structure itself looked like at the time of closing and completion of said survey.

For example, merging groups to adjust an already calculated and presented result is therefore something that cannot be done.

It is not without reason this is the case, though:

  • One of the reasons why it is not possible to influence an already calculated result is that it always involves a risk to the guaranteed anonymity that we at Brilliant promise each individual respondent. Recalculations would open up the possibility of calculating how individual respondents responded in a survey in the background, by comparisons of teams and summaries.

The organisational structure can of course be managed and changes can be administered whenever this is desired; any changes that occur there will only apply to results going forward, for future surveys.
