Languages & translations
Keep track of translations if you're working with multiple languages – everything is based on your master language set at account activation. Use machine translation for easy handling, and consider creating an English backup even if you're only using one language.
If you conduct surveys in multiple languages, it’s important to keep track of translations. Your customer account in the platform offers a number of available languages (this varies from customer to customer).
Master Language
The term "master" is often used to refer to something original, leading, or primary. The language you choose to write your questions in becomes your master language, your primary language. The master language was set up at the same time as your customer account was activated in the platform.
All translations are based on the master language.
Machine Translation
Many languages? No problem! In this era of smart technology and AI, translations are a breeze. Translate question by question or use our machine translation feature, which helps you translate entire email texts in one go and questions with a single click.
We recommend reviewing and verifying the translations as much as possible, with the help of colleagues or similar resources, to ensure that specific words, expressions, and tonality are conveyed as intended.
Only One Language? Create a Global Backup!
If you only need one language, this is quickly done. However, we always recommend having an English version of all materials (email texts and questions). It’s always good to have a global language as a backup in case you have respondents who do not understand your master language and therefore choose not to participate.
