It is possible to copy a the survey, to use as a basis for a new survey you create. The new copy that is created as a draft has the same survey template ("Brilliant Employee Survey", "Start from Scratch", etc.) and the same question set. However, selection (respondents), communication and scheduling need to be selected and determined as usual.

How do I do it? 

  • In the side menu to the left, go to "Surveys" and select "Create"

  • Select "+ Create new survey"

  • Here you will now see templates/survey types to choose from as a starting point for the new draft; above these are old, finished surveys that can potentially be copied and used as a starting point.


Sometimes, major platform updates (affecting the survey creation functionality) may affect the possibility to copy a finished survey. Some completed surveys, drafts of which were created before such a major platform update, cannot be copied. This is a security measure to prevent errors and issues with surveys.
