What should I call my survey?
Does it matter what I name the survey? What should it be called? The survey name is what will appear in the results views— in summaries, next to the questions, in eNPS, and in filter menus—essentially everywhere.
Naming a survey can be both simple and challenging. There is no definitive right or wrong, but here are some key considerations we think are worth keeping in mind.
Less is More
A short and concise name fits everywhere and doesn’t need to be shortened—making it clear in all views and easy to find among different surveys, historical results, and when comparing and analysing data.
Make sure to give your survey a unique name. This ensures clarity in any materials you choose to export, such as in PowerPoint.
Date
There’s no need to include the date in the survey name, as it is automatically added based on the month the survey is completed.
