PIN code groups

The team responds to surveys via a shared link and PIN code – it is created the same way as a regular team but consists of anonymous users.

A PIN code solution is used in teams where one or more respondents lack personal email addresses or access to a computer in their daily work, and where SMS is not a viable option.

Create a PIN Code Group

PIN code groups are created the same way as regular teams but are marked specifically as a PIN code group.

📌 Create team

Note: To convert an existing team into a PIN code group, the team must be empty. PIN code groups can only consist of anonymous users.

If there are regular users in the team, they need to be removed before the team can be converted into a PIN code group.

📌 Edit team

Anonymous users

Unlike regular teams, PIN code groups are made up of anonymous users—essentially placeholders.

Even though a team is marked as a PIN code group, the number of respondents is still important for tracking response rate. Therefore, the same number of anonymous users as expected respondents are created. This allows the expected number of responses to be set and the response rate to be monitored.
