Whitelisting

A whitelist (also known as "whitelisting") is a security measure where only specific, pre-approved IP addresses and email senders are allowed through spam filters. All other devices or users are blocked by default.

To ensure that email dispatches from Brilliant’s servers reach your respondents, Brilliant needs to be whitelisted in your IT environment. Below is the relevant information for your IT team.

IP Address

Our emails are sent from the following IP address, and we recommend whitelisting it as follows:

  • IP Address: 149.72.194.158
  • Domain: "brilliantinsights.se"

If you have a specific policy for web browsing, please grant permissions for "brilliantinsights.se".

If you use Outlook Clutter, we recommend disabling it for Brilliant’s emails.

Links

Most traffic related to surveys and reporting will go via SSL to [brilliantinsights.se].

Examples:

Some of these links are redirect links and may currently show a 404 error. However, they still need to be whitelisted.

Browser Requirements

The latest version of Chrome or Microsoft Edge is required. JavaScript must be enabled.

Large Email Dispatches

Some of Brilliant’s customers who send large email dispatches upon activation may experience delays for some employees receiving their emails. This is due to email servers being configured to only accept a limited number of emails at a time to prevent overload attacks. Please review your settings and check whether it is possible to allow a higher volume of emails on the days when the survey is sent out.
