Branding
Branding can be used to link a specific logo and sender in the email templates used in your surveys to specific parts of the organisational structure.
Example:
Company A has two sub-companies, built as directly underlying summaries in the organizational structure; Sub-Company 1 and Sub-Company 2. Company A holds an employee survey annually, while Sub-Company 1 wants to run smaller pulse surveys regularly. Sub-Company 1 therefore wants to have its own logo and a separate signature in the emails that go out in connection with their pulse surveys.
There will always be a basic branding, called "Default", that controls the account in the branding settings. It is important to keep this basic branding as intact as possible - it is usually not a sustainable way of working to change this too often, for example between each survey held in the platform. A simpler and more effective way to use branding is rather to create new specific brandings for certain parts of the structure.
Below is a step-by-step guide on how to set up new branding (note that access to the Library is necessary to administer brandings):
- Go to the Library and select “Create brand”.
- Register a name for the branding you are creating at the top of the page.
- To upload a new logo, choose to import the new logo by uploading a file from your computer, or drag and drop the file into the box.
• For the format of the file being uploaded, we recommend PNG.
• The recommended image size depends on the format, but a high-resolution logo scaled down to 100 pixels in height usually works well.
Other settings available for branding:
- In “Branding condition”, click on “No selected group”. There, find and select which part of the organisational structure should be linked to the branding you are creating.
- In the “Email” drop-down list, select from the options (“Email signer” and “Mail from”) what you want to adjust for the branding that is created. These options are linked to variables with the same name, which are used when handling email templates in the Library: 📌 Communication
Email signer- this variable is usually used in the greeting phrase at the end of email templates, and can, for example, be registered as “Name Last name, CEO”.
Mail from - this variable is used to adjust which (company) name is listed as the sender in the emails that are sent from Brilliant's system. For example, if you register "Company A", the sender field in email sendouts will look like this: "Company A <no-reply@brilliantinsights.se>".
