Edit user

Update contact information, settings, and background variables.

User information can be updated at any time.

  1. Navigate to Organisation > Manage organisation via the main menu.

    • Find the relevant team in the organisational structure by searching for the team name at the top, or by clicking through the structure.

  2. Click on the team to display its users.

  3. Hover over the user and click the three dots (• • •) that appear.

    • Then click Edit.

General – Basic user information

  • First name, last name, email address, phone number, external ID*, and language.

Advanced – Settings and additional information

  • User status, exclusion from surveys, and any background variables.
  • 📌 Background variables

External ID: This field is shown only for organisations actively using IDs from their own systems, commonly used when importing users from an HR system.
