Questions
Standard questions are answered using a 1–5 scale. The reporting includes a graph, average score, response rate, and number of responses to the question.
For standard questions, we primarily use a five-point scale ranging from 1 to 5, where:
1 = “No – needs improvement”
5 = “Yes – definitely”
Response options.
Response options when grouped into three segments and presented in a visual graph.
Using a scale with an odd number of options allows respondents to choose a neutral answer, rather than being forced to take a stand. This leads to more nuanced insights and can help improve response rates, as it reduces the risk of respondents skipping questions.
Average Score
An average score is displayed for standard questions and helps in interpreting results and tracking changes between surveys.
The Question Result Graph
Since the number of responses may vary between questions, it’s important to monitor the response rate to ensure any conclusions are based on representative data.
