Create Action Plan
An action plan provides structure and makes it easy to document the follow-up of survey results.
Action plans are created through a five-step process linked to a workshop – a working session where the group reflects together, discusses goals, and agrees on activities to move forward.
Note: If you’re a user with access to multiple groups, make sure to select the relevant group at the top of the page – usually your own team.
How to do it
You can start a new action plan in two ways:
-
From the main menu > My Results > Overview, and through insights under "Brilliant Insights"
-
From the main menu > My Action Plans > Action Plan, and then click "+ New Follow-up"
In this example, we’ll use option 2.
Choose the survey the action plan should be linked to – or create a stand-alone plan.
Action plans and activities are most often tied to survey insights, but the platform can also be used to document and follow up on areas not related to a specific survey.
- Preparations
- Define the purpose and goals of the follow-up
- Get ready as the organiser of the workshop
- Suggested communication to send out to workshop participants
- Intro & Prio
- Start the meeting by clarifying the purpose and how the workshop will be run
- Select focus areas for the follow-up – preferably based on the group’s insights
- Current situation
- Discuss and document the current state – what you are and aren’t doing today, and the impact this has on your work
- Desired situation
- Discuss and document the desired state – what do you want it to look like in six months, and what will you be doing then that you aren’t doing now?
- Action plan
- Discuss and document what steps you need to take to reach your desired situation?
- Click "+ Add Activity" and name the activity
- Describe the activity yourself or get help from AI by generating activity suggestions based on your results, current situation, and desired situation
📌 Generate activity suggestions using AI - Set a target date for when the group aims to have reached the goal
- Assign someone responsible for follow-up – typically the manager, but it can also be another user in the group
- Finish by clicking "Activate" at the bottom right of the page
Note: To activate the action plan, at least one activity must be saved.
