Part 6 - Results & Follow-up
The survey is closed, and now it’s time to dive into the insights from your employees’ feedback.
You gain access to results for all questions, including index scores – which summarise related questions within key areas such as engagement, leadership, and team effectiveness. You can compare results against internal benchmarks, previous surveys, higher-level groups, or Brilliant’s external benchmark.
Access to Results – Who Sees What?
Once the survey is complete, users with Admin roles have access to the results in the platform the next day. Managers get access on the reporting date you've set.
What users can see depends on their role and permissions:
-
A team manager can access their team's results and compare them upward in the organisation.
-
A manager with broader responsibility can view all results within their part of the organisation – both summaries and individual teams – and compare between them.
Brilliant's platform includes anonymity rules to protect individual responses, which influence when and how results are shown. The standard threshold to access team results is a minimum of 3 responses.
HR roles can be assigned access to all or parts of the organisation. By default, they also have access to open-text responses and sensitive question results.
Exciting Data – But What’s Next?
All users have access to the help centre and a digital onboarding within the platform. Many of Brilliant’s customers supplement this with additional training – especially for managers – to increase engagement and maximise value.
As a manager, if you want a simple yet effective approach to working with your results:
-
Share the results and insights with your team – either in a meeting or digitally
-
Meet and use the Brilliant Workshop to co-create an action plan based on your team’s insights
-
Follow up on the action plan
As HR or a senior manager, you’ll first access results at an overall level across the measured areas and compare internally and against Brilliant’s external benchmarks.
You then create an overview by comparing all groups in the organisation to identify trends, high-performing teams, and those needing extra support.
To gain deeper insights for strategic decisions, many leadership teams work with Brilliant’s Professional Services for a results analysis or a strategic workshop.
After the survey, it’s important to close the loop: thank respondents for their feedback, communicate the overall results and planned actions, and reinforce the follow-up plan.
