Move user

Sometimes users change teams and need to be moved within the organisation — if this is not done through a user import, it can be handled manually.

Note! Users can only belong to teams and cannot be moved to summary groups.

Summary groups represent the organisation’s hierarchical levels and are only used to aggregate results from multiple underlying groups.

How to move a user

  1. Navigate to Organisation > Manage organisation via the main menu.

    • Find the current team in the organisational structure by searching at the top or by clicking through the groups.

  2. Click on the team to display its users.

  3. Hover over the user you want to move and click on the three dots (• • •) that appear.

    • Select 'Move'.

  4. In the window that appears – find the user’s new team by searching or clicking through the structure.

    • Select the team you want to move the user to and click 'Move'.

 

During an ongoing survey, caution is needed: if a respondent's user is moved between teams, they may have already answered the survey. If this is the case, the procedure needs to look like this: 

  1. Clear answers for the respondent who has already answered the survey - 📌 Add and remove respondents and responses
  2. Move the respondent's user in the structure to the correct team
  3. Send a new email with link to the survey to the respondent - 📌 Send emails manually

This way, previous wrongly registered answers will be removed properly, and the respondent can take the survey again for their correct team.
