Part 5 - Activate and manage ongoing surveys
When you are prepared with a plan for survey, follow-up, and have your organisational and employee data in place, you are ready to create and send out your survey!
Setting up and activating a survey
For those with the "HR+Survey" role, you have the right to send out surveys. In the left menu, you will find "Surveys." Here, you choose to create a new survey and can start from Brilliant's predefined surveys (recommended) but can also create your own or customize Brilliant's.
Brilliant Employee Survey contains Brilliant's standard package with our standard indexes of a total of 34 questions, included in 7 different indexes.
Start from scratch means that you put together your survey yourself with indexes/question packages or selected questions in chapters you create.

When setting up a survey, a guide will take you through 5 steps.
After the basic type has been selected, there are 5 steps that set up and finally complete the creation of the survey:
- Questions
Here the question battery for the survey is selected and managed, where indexes and question packages can be included as desired. - Respondents
Here the sample for the survey is selected, based on the organizational structure. - Communication
The email templates created in the Library are selected here to be used in the survey. - Schedule
The survey's scheduling for start and end, as well as any reminders and time for reporting, are set up here. - Summary
In the final step, a summary of everything that has been selected in the previous steps is displayed. It is also possible to create previews here to test the survey before it is activated via the "Schedule" button.
Setting up and configuring a survey is quick and easy. Once you have scheduled it, the platform handles activation and sending automatically. When the survey is active, you, as the admin, monitor response rates and make any adjustments as needed.
When the survey closes, the platform automatically calculates the results, and as an admin, you have access to the results the day after closing. In a previous stage, you set when the organization's managers should receive a result link sent to their email. There, new users easily create their accounts and then go directly to their part of the platform with their results and the opportunity for follow-up work.
